I really have! Three years ago I had no idea at all what I was embarking on... I thought of it as a sort of online photo-diary but it has been so very much more - the joy and friendship and beauty and challenge I have got from my three years of 365ing have been beyond anything I imagined.
Life has changed over 3 years, and I am running out of steam, time & shots to take here in rural Bedfordshire. That said, I am not about to hang up my camera-straps and vegetate... I'm going to open a new folder and embark on a project 52, hoping that a shot a week will keep me here with you wonderful people, give me more time to keep up with you and perhaps even get more creative, who knows?!
Thank you, thank you for every single glance, comment, fav, exchange, smile - I've certainly smiled because of you more than 1096 times - you have made it all worthwhile. Mwah! xx
PS I did this with a programme called 'picture medley' - http://www.photility.com/PictureMedley/ - gave it a shape, gave it 3 years of shots and it shuffled it and created this fairly painlessly, especially on the 8th try when it was getting to know me...!
@cocobella You were typing at the same time as me! The link to doing it is above.. I searched for a simple shape on google images as the bolder ones seem to work best. Took a few tries with different sizes of 'tiles' and settled on this one. Nice to try something else new... gosh do we ever stop?! :)

Congratulations! What a beautiful "quilt" of images to celebrate three years! I like your definition of Project 52 and will consider that for myself when the time comes.
Oh wow. What a great mosaic, Phil! I love it!!! I am going to miss your daily photos but I can deal with one a week I suppose. It's far better than you disappearing completely! And who knows... You may even find something in between weeks that catches your eye and you want to share it. Nothing is impossible - not here on 365. I am going to check your link and see what some of my shots will do!! Love this so fav'ing it.
Great mosaic and well done for making it to the end of year3. Your project 52 is a good idea. I struggle to post every day and find it difficult to get back into it if I miss more than a week
Three years! That is amazing and such beautiful shots along the way too. I am on my second year but not posting each day, just when I have shots. I look forward following your project 52!
Love this Phil and I was really worried when I saw this and started reading that you were going to finish. I was about to say nooooooo.... I know I haven't been keeping up with your project very well but I do love to come and visit and see what you been up to. So pleased you are staying!
Congratulations on finishing up year #3 with a BANG!! Great collage and also grateful that you won't disappearing completely. Your comments always bring a smile and your shots are always fun to look at. Now I see where all those floral "quilt" shots were going to land and they look even prettier!
