One of the popular visitor attractions in York in spring is the display of daffodils on the banks below the city walls.
On the whole, the display has been poor this year, with the sections of wall which shade the daffodils giving the best display, because they have bloomed later when the weather has been more spring like.
There are just a few areas where the display is still on view, as here beside New Tower (Not really new - it was built around 650 years ago!)
