Spotlight is a local dancing school run by one of Lucy's friends. They put on a show over the weekend with a theme of travel and these are some of the costumes that now need packing away until their next time in the spotlight!
The show displayed a variety of dance forms from classical ballet, to tap dancing and on to the newly popular street dancing. The children were ranged in age from 4 to 15 years old and performed beautifully.
The show was wonderful and raised money for "Snappy" an out of school and holiday club for youngsters with disabilities.
Just in case you are wondering I help dress at shows, especially quick changes, and do some admin work for Spotlight.
@padlock@thresheg@lyndag Thank you. Costumes are usually colourful and glittery, but there is a sadness to them when not being worn. They are ready to be packed away and transformed later to make new costumes. Katharine
