Brighton Pier

This week we (my husband and two children) went for a day trip to Brighton. We had had a lovely day, the weather was lovely and it was great to have a paddle in the sea! This picture is of the Brighton Pier. There has been a pier at this sight since 1823, however it has been rebuilt since then as it was completely destroyed by storms in 1889. Brighton Pier was originally used as a landing stage, however it is now home to amusements and two of the most famous thrill rides from Italy, The Booster and The Super Booster.
