The Purple Man, York

The rain didn't deter the Purple Man from posing although how he keeps so still is a mystery to me. In fairness he did move to put up his umbrella, but he did it so slowly and gracefully.He is raising money for toys to send to children in Syria.

As my lilac raincoat had turned purple, he felt we were kindred souls, and offered me a lift home on his bike. I thanked him for his kind offer and declined, feeling it would be quicker to walk home and dryer on the bus!
