Purple Man (2) by fishers

Purple Man (2)

I had not given much thought to making pictures using Lego bricks but there were a few at the Lego exhibition at York University that Ian and I went to last Sunday.

I had to take this one for the project as I have previously posted a picture of the real Purple Man at his usual place in Stonegate in the city centre - http://365project.org/fishers/365/2014-05-30

I mentioned in my previous post that he was collecting money for toys for the children in Syria. He has now been to Syria to deliver the toys. The York Press newspaper recorded the start of his travels - http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/11249669.Purpleman_s_Syrian_mission_due_to_start/

Loved your original purple man, so this was a nice reminder. Well done - to you for the shot and to the purple man for delivering the toys.

@bobhuegel Thanks. I keep wondering where our large base boards have gone. If I could find them I might have a go as stress relief! katharine

@tonydebont It took me a while to figure how it might be done. I thought they might have used a number of the flat base boards to fasten the coloured bricks down. Katharine
