Minster Gate by fishers

Minster Gate

Some part of the south end of York Minster can be seen peeping out as one walks down Minster Gate. You have to go to the end of this short road to get a complete view of the Minster, but I like the different aspects of the south transept being revealed as one approaches the open paved area.

The shops on either side are small and interesting, My favourite on the right is a bookshop with an interesting warren of rooms to explore.

Lovely shot of York Minster, like the way it is lighter than the other buildings.

Good to get a shot with no few people in. The Minster is beautifully framed by the buildings leading up to it.
