Hebden Bridge by fishers

Hebden Bridge

In the centre of Hebden Bridge is an old packhorse bridge, and to the north west of that an old steep cobbled packhorse track climbs up the hillside towards the hill top village of Heptonstall. It is known as the Buttress. Along the climb are views back over Hebden Bridge, and this one shows tall houses on the lower hillside with farmland above, and beyond that the open moorland.

Thank you for your lovely comments and favs. Katharine and I had a lovely day visiting Hebden Bridge and Heptonstall - it brought back so many memories of visits there when the girls were young.
