A shot from my mum's garden, taken last week, of a spider's web. I love the intricate detail of their structure.
I wen't to visit mum for 3 days so I could take her to hospital for her regular eye examination (she has macular degeneration). I arrived to find an ambulance parked outside her property, and the medics preparing to take her into hospital with chest pains - they were just leaving me a note to let me know where she was. I ended up staying for 9 days, and left her still in hospital, with my brother now well enough to visit her after his hospital stay at the start of last week.
A big thank you to all of you for your concern over her health - I've told her of your kind comments and she sends her thanks too. I'm still waiting for an update to her condition today.

An update on mum's condition - she was discharged from hospital today, but has two outpatients appointments next Wednesday. She is very tired, but glad to be back at home.
Hope the doctors can help and cure is comming her way.
