Can it really be over 2 years since I last posted a photo? It's such a long time since I last looked at this project, but an email from Ross made me have a look and realise what I've missed. I'm looking forward to seeing what my fellow photographers have been doing during my absence.
This shot was one of a number taken in Dean's Park, on the north side of York Minster, last week, where there is a big display of crocuses in bloom. The unusually warm weather over the last month has brought spring to York rather early, although the forecast for the next few days is rather wet and windy.
Welcome back ... I went through some of my 'followers' the other day and weeded out who hadn't posted for a while .. lucky you .. you didn't get the chop... great colour and focus on the crocus .. great time to be getting back into it with everything waking up after winter...
