Pretty Flower

I can't give this it's proper name - it's one of the many interesting things that I find on my walks and that I can't identify, so all I can say is that I hope you find it as interesting as I did.

Fascinating! Wonder if it is a kind of fuschia, a bit like Pink Galore? Very pretty

I'm with @casablanca I think looking like fuchsia family, but can't help any more than that I'm afraid.

Fascinating it is so pretty

that's pretty - is it small, knee high, and a wildflower? Because I suspect white campion or one of the relatives, on its way out.

Beautiful capture and the flowers are very lovely. No idea what sort of plant this is.

@shannejw Ooh I think you are right! Silene latifolia as the Latin techies call it - that can look like this.

Thank you all for your comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.

Thank you to all of you who suggested what the flower might be. Particular thanks to @shannejw who identified this as a Campion. Having looked up information and photos of the various Campions, I think it is probably Bladder Campion, it's prefered habitat being 'dry, calcareous grassland, often on scrubby field boundaries', which is exactly the description of the countryside where I found this.
