Sorry, a late post today since I've only just got back from visiting my mum. I've been with her a couple of days following an outpatient visit to hospital on Thursday.
A shot from the Japanese Garden in Avenham Park in Preston. Preston may not be high on the list of places to visit that many of us have, but we find it an interesting town with some nice walks. The park runs along the north bank of the River Ribble, and rises up to the plateau on which the town centre is built. It is an attractive well looked after place, with much to see and explore. The Japanese Garden in particular has a wide range of interesting plants and shrubs, with an artificial waterfall and ponds, and lots of photo opportunities!
Thank you all for your comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
It was lovely to walk around the park with it's varied gardens and features, but the Japanese Garden is my photographic favourite.
