This shot is another shot that Katharine took in Market Deeping. She is on her way to Sheffield at the moment to see her dad but has gone early so she can call at Rotherham Hospital to see how my mum is today. I had to stay in York for a medical appointment of my own. Anyway, she has left me this photo to post.
The shot shows part of a group of six almshouses set in a quadrangle. They were built in 1877 as the gift of Miss Mary Ann Scotney, and were initially for the use of widows of Lincolnshire clergymen. There seems to be very little other information about them online.
Like many other buildings in Market Deeping, they are built of an attractive light coloured stone (probably a type of limestone) and this makes the High Street a very attractive sequence of buildings.
delightful house with an interesting history, What is it used as today?
Sorry to hear about your father-in-law, hope he gets better soon, hope your medical appointment is not too serious

See there are still antenna`s in use. We replace them by cable.
Thank you all for your comments and favs, Katharine was delighted that this shot had made the Popular Page.
I suspect that these buildings are still used as almshouses, although I haven't found any information to confirm that.
Thank you too to those who asked about our hospital stuff. My mum is still in Rotherham hospital 'under investigation' but she seems quite cheerful.
