Another shot from Clifton Ings, taken on my walk last Thursday. Here trees are reflected in the remains of the flood water. These areas of water that remain are very shallow - most of them only about 2 inches (5cms) deep, and will soon clear. The flood bank makes a good vantage point to look down on such large puddles.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
I had a walk this afternoon on Clifton Ings, and this water has now almost completely gone. It's amazing the change in just 5 days.
