A recently altered part of the Homestead Park, York, the Circles Garden has a ground plan of interlocking circles, with a feature at the centre of each - an orrerey, a tree with a circular bench around it, and here, a global stone fountain (although the water was turned off on this visit). It is a lovely quiet spot to sit and watch the bees on the flowers.

The circles garden occupies a relatively small part of the park, near it's eastern entrance and it forms a nice focal point when entering from that side. There are benches to sit and enjoy the area. We were sat on a bench well away from the main path that passes the garden.
