Into the Woods

Another photo from our daughter Louise, of their family walk on Sunday, showing the path between hedges that leads into Bourne Woods.

Bourne Woods are a large area of ancient woodland, winding paths, ponds and interesting wildlife. They cater for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. There is a lot to see and explore there. I have an orienteering map of the woods which shows many minor paths as well as the main tracks.

So, for me this shot is a reminder that there is still much of this woodland for me to explore, when the Covid-19 restrictions allow and I can visit Louise and her family again.
