A few days of warmer weather and there are a number of types of flowers appearing in the Museum Gardens, with examples of cyclamen, snowdrops, and even a few crocuses. I particularly likes the pale purple of these crocuses. It definitely looks and feels like spring is getting closer!
It's lovely isn't it? I was out looking at new growth appearing today, it really lifts your spirits.
This is a lovely capture, so nice to see some colour, fav.
Beautiful shot and blooms. Spring is the best season of the year. Apart from a day now and then, this winter has been almost like Spring in Malta; gave me the opportunity to enjoy the countryside during the pandemic.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
It's a bit early in the year to be seeing crocuses, they normally appear during march. The tree below which I took this shot normally has a carpet of them in a variety of different colours. At the moment there are just these two.
They are delightful aren't they! I spot crocuses in the woods near our house here in Italy too, the occasional bright splash of colour in the undergrowth.
