Dandelions

It is almost exactly a year since I posted an dandelion photo, and eleven months since I posted a dandelion seed head photo, but today I'm posting both together.

Dandelions seem to have suddenly appeared everywhere after a slow start to their season, and no sooner are they flowering than seed heads are appearing too.

There are huge numbers of dandelions to be seen at the moment. Katharine and I walked around the city walls this afternoon, and on one section the daffodils on the banks had largely died, but the bank still looked yellow because there were so many dandelions.
