Our rose bushes continue to produce new flowers, but I was a bit surprised to see this bud opening - this bush tends to be the first to decide winter has arrived and to give up producing new buds.
There is quite a lot of new growth on some of the other rose bushes, particularly the Queen Elizabeth roses, so it looks like they will need another trim before the colder weather comes.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
Not only do we have a new crop of buds on our roses, but more signs of new growth, which shows how much warmer it is this autumn than normal.

Thank you Nina. Roses are such attractive flowers. I hope you have great success with your first rose!
