The newspapers here don't make for pleasant reading. Corruption and misappropriation are commonplace. Violence breeds violence in continual stories of gang rape, sorcery and burning people alive. Photographs of dismemberment and of people pointing to bits and pieces adorn our front pages.
Yesterday I visited my good friend, she had told others who had not seen me for some time that I was coming over and a handful of us sat on the porch and told stories. When I left one of my good friends the last time around, she told me that she was with child and was marrying her new boyfriend. Yesterday she introduced her beautiful little girl and her two beautiful sons. I had not realised I had been away for so long. When I departed those years ago, she was a young woman looking for something in her life, and I return to find a young mother still searching.
She made me popcorn which was all that she had. But she ate none of the corn because she had the nut.
We gently shook hands and I said farewell to her beautiful kids.
@tabbycat@gavincci - I hear Michaelmalangalo painted a dozen Moaning Lisas before he stopped with the one we now see at the Louvre. There's a good reason the rest remain hidden.
@luvthyclassics - thanks Jesse... not a lot of post-production here... this was all about the sun.
@lynnb - because I am sitting in the ocean, it was more going to be about the solace of the water in a way of hiding from the conflict, but the monster sun flares here changed my mind. An accident.
Out side of sorcery, sounds about par for the course. Although celebrities seem to be smashed the FrontPage second pages all the horror stories.
Anywho great photo love how you disappear into the light
@amandal - I do creepy?
@twr - Cheers.
@taffy - Its my conflict.
Your stories continue to haunt my thoughts.
@agentzuckerguss - just sit in the ocean, with the sun behind you and point and shoot.
@amandal - wonder if I'll manage creepy or not for this week's theme?
@summerfield - the comment about falling into the marsh?
@tamaralaraphotography - Thank you Tamara. :)
@snowflakes86 - a painting? Cool.
@luvthyclassics - thanks Jesse... not a lot of post-production here... this was all about the sun.

@grammyn - just don't really want to haunt anyone.
@amandal - no ideas yet...
@grammyn - that's what I mean... sorry :(
