Yes! After angsting over light painting and trying to (a) come up with a concept I liked and (b) make it work, I love how simple and effective this is... @domenicododaro
@joemuli thank you indeed! @fearinnocent not so difficult: camera on tripod, windows shut, f:22 and 30" exposition. Self shutter (I don't own a remote). I sat on my bed with legs crossed (I couldn't attain the real yoga lotus position). I had wrapped some scotch tape around my phone to tie it to a nylon thread, turned the phone light on, and holding the thread with a raised arm had the phone revolving around me as many times I could.
@kali66 😊A memory came to me from a book by Murakami Aruki: 1Q84, where some mysterious entities wave air threads to create human replicants. A metaphor of the writer, clearly. @fearinnocent it's absolutely free of charge!😉 @kerosene thank you, Caroline!
@domenicododaro I knew that light was good for something besides getting me to the bathroom and helping me find my way around strange hotel rooms on business trips!
@summerfield Really? Why, it's not so complicate. The problem is, it turns boring after a while... How many practically identical light painting shots hang out there?
