the artist's mother by fiveplustwo

the artist's mother

hard to emulate the victorian clothes - (yes, kali, my magic wardrobe failed me this time.) - petticoats and a multitude of layers. how those people existed with so many layers of clothes when they didn't have washing machine (and running water) is really beyond me.

a crude imitation of james abbott whistler's "arrangement in grey and black - portrait of the artist's mother." the original is here: http://www.jamesabbottmcneillwhistler.org/Arrangement-In-Grey-And-Black-Portrait-Of-The-Artists-Mother-1871.html
