My 25 year old slinky that I used to play with my childhood friends. To make it more fun we usually connect 2 Slinkys together and then let them bounce and bounce and bounce down the stairs!

I remember the metal too. They got tangled approximately 2.4 second after coming out of the box.

Aaah the Slinky yep, had a metal one as well - never did have the plastic color one... definitely a childhood game icon.
