one thing is for certain: it's hard to take a self portrait underwater when you're trying to swim (even in 3 feet water hahahaha!) and you forget to change the camera's self-timer setting. as you can see, i am not a graceful swimmer. heck! i'm not even a swimmer.
composite of three photos, all taken by me. and no, i would never swim with the sharks. although heaven only knows why but i dated a couple in the past.
This is brilliant. I am so curious now - were you hanging on to a camera with your left hand whilst trying to swim? Did you go to a public baths with your camera? Do you normally swim with a pearl necklace? What the heck - definitely a fav.
@helenhall - me swimming is the most recent photo, taken last year when my sister and I went to Jacksonville, florida. this was at the hotel swimming pool; i was holding the camera with my left hand resting on the submerged ledge. i do wear my pearl necklace all the time, but in this instance i forgot to take it off. the corals were taken when my bestie and i went snorkeling in the coral fields off the island of Palawan during our holidays. the shark was from 2014 when we brought the grands to the aquarium. which reminds me, i should make it a point ot visit the aquarium again so i have updated photos. thanks.
@summerfield well how resourceful you are, collecting all those perfect photos in readiness for this composite. Thanks for answering all of those questions and satisfying my curiosity.
