I want you all to know I did have the intentions of giving some of the credit to the person who made the bird silhouette I really thought I had put that in the description when I uploaded the photo but since I haven't had the chance to get on here for a few days I honestly didn't know it wasn't in the description until now I really didn't mean for it to look like I was taking all the credit for the picture I'm sorry and I apologize for that so now I want to give some of the credit to the person who created the bird and I would like to thank everyone for all the wonderful comments
For those of you wondering exactly how I did this here is what I did
First I found this picture online http://fineartamerica.com/featured/silhouette-bird-on-branch-granger.html and saved it
Second I opened it in paint and colored the black areas to make it darker
Third I opened it in Microsoft PowerPoint
Then I clicked on the "format" tab
Next I clicked on the "remove background" tab
Once that was done I overlaid it on my moon picture and saved it
and there you have it
So the wondering public wants to know, this was photoshopped or something right/? Great shot with the processing and congrats on the PP, well deserved.
It's a great image of the moon but I really think credit should have gone to the person who created the bird in your image info when you uploaded it. Thanks for posting the info Jeff @jsw0109 I am way okay with things being done in photoshop. I do post processing of images myself but when we use/if we ever use another persons work then I think we should be giving them credit. I dont think credit is needed if you are using something like the effects plugins as you are automatically granted consent to have unlimited use/rights to those when you purchase the software. I'm talking about free actions etc that folks have created and posted for us to download and use or adding another person's image to our own to make it exactly what we want.
