Nice weather and sun through the day, we went on trip to Lammassaari, just to learn that it's too early for it to be full of life and birds. We came back home in time for me to go and sit and wait for roes. I was almost there when I heard hooting of Eurasian eagle-owl and... I decided to go for wild goose chase. I was following the sound and getting annoyed, since it was hooting only once per 15-25 minutes, sun was setting down and I was in middle of forest, no roads around, knee deep snow and I decided not to give up. I knew where the closest road was, so I could always call Fiance to pick me up.
I almost missed him on the tree, he looked like piece of a bit brighter trunk from my side, I was so happy to check if that really is the case!
