So, I have woken up at 5 just to hear it's raining super heavily, so I turned off alarm and went to sleep, since my clothes are supposed to be resistant to mud, but not the water pouring from the sky unfortunately.
Whole day was cloudy and rainy and cloudy and rainy (typical Finnish spring ;) ), but when we were coming back from shop, a bit of sun peaked out and these two lapwings were flying in most acrobatic figures just near the road. So Fiance stopped the car and listened for almost half of hour swearing about autofocus. I was absolutely sure I haven't managed even a single picture, but this one got my face lit!
It's not the perfect one that I have imagined, since lapwings fly sometimes in pair parallel to ground showing of tops of them, but it's pretty awesome, especially that I have waited almost a year to be able to take pictures of them in flight.
