This is a statue of Sephiroth, a character from the still unbelievably popular game Final Fantasy VII. It's set in the floor of the Square Enix Shop in Tokyo where you can buy all kinds of merchandise related to games by this company, mostly the Final Fantasy and the Dragon Quest series, Japan's two most famous and loved series of Role Play Games. I used to be a fan of the Final Fantasy franchise (up to X-2 and didn't bother with anything after that game). These days I'm drawn more towards the Smile Slime goods, the mascot of the Dragon Quest games, though I only played one of those so far. A few years back I would have been floored by this Sephiroth statue I tell you, but even now it was rather cool. Also got a plush cactus-thing from FF, don't know what that enemy was called in the English versions of the games? He's "Kaktor" in Germany.
