My son doesn't like having his photo taken but he likes this one. After a trying day we walked up May Hill - a magical and special place for both of us. The sky was a little hazy as he looked towards the Welsh hills and the sunset was amazing.
I'm not surprised your son likes it! Lovely composition, silhouettes and a beautiful sky. My late Dad was a member of the Forest of Dean Morris Men and they would dance on May Hill for May Day.
@lottielongers They still dance on May Day as I know someone who went last year. Did you ever watch your father there? I've been for sunrise on the summer solstice and it was truly special.
@flowerfairyann We did once, when I was about 8. I think the pre-dawn start was a bit much for us, but I remember it very well. A beautiful spot - I would like to go again (especially after seeing your picture!)
I also have a son called Dan, that doesn't like his photo taken.
