Blackthorn blossom to Sloe Gin
Spotted Blackthorn blossom in the hedgerow today. By September there will be sloe berries on the bush ready for picking. On the right is the fruits of my labours last year - a delicious glass of sloe gin which is a fab pick-me-up after a hard day.

Oh how lovely. We make sloe gin too but I don't think I've ever noticed the flowers before!

Might have to take the dogs out during daylight and go a hunting blossom. What prompted the border colour?
