Trying to find something old to photograph and found this in the farmhouse. I remember Mum having a similar one which she traded in for the modern one (in the 1970s). Oh so different now!
I was looking at a sewing machine just like this a couple of weeks ago. It was in the De Havelland museum. I noticed then, the detail pattern on the panel which you have depicted here. Great focus on that part that you wrap the thread around (no idea what it is called).
Great pov. My Mum had an old Singer machine & I remember her teaching me to sew on it when I was around 7 years old. She was a great seamstress but I never mastered the art !
