Labour of love

My son has wanted to make sourdough for a long time so after Christmas we started a sourdough culture. This took a week. Yesterday he started the loaf - first prove took 4 hours and second one 12 hours (overnight). After all this time we have ended up with a Frisbee. Think something went wrong somewhere!
Looks delicious Ann. My husband used to make this and was well worth the extra effort.

How frustrating. Hope it was an edible Frisbee. Did you make the loaf at the back? That looks perfect.

@helenhall Sad to say we couldn't really eat it but will persevere after reading up on where it might have gone wrong. The aim is to get one similar to the picture in the book behind our frisbee.
