Old and new

The warehouses in Gloucester Docks have been renovated and now the process is moving downstream with work starting on the derelict ones left. I like the mix of old and new and it's always a pleasant walk into the city along this route.

I haven't been to Gloucester - the docks look interesting as they often are on English rivers and canal systems. I agree, the old and new sit well together here.

I really like how old docklands are being transformed across the country. It preserves a little of our industrial heritage and much else.
