It's been a joy to watch the garden birds visiting my new bird feeder over the last week and witness the pecking order - the coal tit seems to win out. Even a woodpecker has come to call. It's also meant I saw a stoat bouncing across the bottom of the fence (the first I've seen clearly that's not dashing across a road.)
