30 Days Wild - Day 13

Wild started early today. I had opened my front door and a wren flew in, hitting the back patio doors - twice. It was a bit stunned but eventually flew out, landing on a garden chair. I knew it would be alright when it started to bob. It's usually impossible to get a shot of wrens, they are constantly moving but I'm pleased with this one and relieved the wren recovered.
Good to hear it survived. They have pretty tough heads don't they. We often get rainbow lorikeets flying into our family room glass door.

Poor little thing. He looks okay there though. You were lucky to get such a lovely photo, he's very sweet.

Well done. You nailed the focus and captured the charactaristic tail. I have never seen one this close before :) Fav!

You have embraced the wild theme so much that it is coming to you! Lovely to see this little wren close up - I like all the pattern and detail on his tiny feathers. Glad all turned out ok for him.

Glad it's OK. We have them nesting nearby but they dart about so quickly I've given up trying to catch them. I am very impressed with this shot Fav
