Racing away from the storm by flowerfairyann

Racing away from the storm

This little sail boat was over a mile away racing across the river on water that was a little choppy. A storm was coming over the hill too. By the time I reached my destination a mile the other way, it had started to rain and there was a sharp storm. However I was lovely and dry, enjoying a coffee and slice with Mr and Mrs Day (@peterday). Good to catch up with them again.
I love the story that this photo tells.

Lovely atmospheric picture. Hope you enjoyed your afternoon tea. Hope Peter behaved, he's been like a naughty teenager recently.

Ann, the water looks so dirty that I honestly wondered what on earth the sail boat was doing in the middle of a ploughed field! SO glad you kept out of the weather and dry, with good company!
