I bought 27 willow sticks back in the spring, bound into 3 groups of 9. These were planted without any expectation (I thought I'd been had) but very quickly little branches started to grow. Over the summer I clipped them to the shape I wanted and they looked quite pretty. Now all the leaves have gone but my little trees still look good (they're about 2' tall) so thought I put them in the b&w tree challenge.
