Circular Rainbow

We went on a winery tour by bicycle today, which was a blast. And I figured I would be posting a picture from one of the wineries we were going to visit. However, as we were leaving the first winery and heading for the second, someone in our group yelled, "Hey check out the sun, look up!" When I looked up, I hit my breaks and got my camera out and got this shot. It is a circular rainbow around the sun. I don't know if any of you got to see it, but it was amazing and the picture just doesn't do it justice.

shucks. ya beat me to it! ;-) This is great. I was at Gaviota Beach on the pier and saw this also, and took a picture. I had to lay flat on my back on the pier to get it.

@caatjeg My director told me the same thing. What ever it is called, it is something to look at. We couldn't stop looking at it and it lasted for about 45 minutes.
