Videy island is just off the coast of Reykjavik, iceland, 5 -10 minute fairy ride. Great place to go hiking. So much history to see and learn about on this island. We hiked the bigger half of the island and didnt make it back to hike the other half, there are no overnight accommodations. One day we may make it back.
I never got to see this island - only made the 'golden circle' tourist-type trip. However, it's a truly fascinating place. There was no green to be seen as we went in November. BRRrrrrrrr.
