When you can't see the forest for the trees

These a re a type of gum tree, often planted for hardwood due to the long straight trunks. They lose their bark regularly. I just loved the colours and confusion of trunks
Fabulous lines and textures.

Love the title and perfect for the photo!!! Do these trees grow this way or were they stripped for some reason!! An incredible photo and sort of spooky looking!! Like an enormous force came through the trees and stripped them of their bark!! Great textures, lighting and details!! FAV!

I like the harmonising lines of the trees. Interesting that many O'seas friends don't know that some of our eucalypts shed their bark every year - just like lizards, cicadas and many other creatures shed their skin. Our Lemon Scented Gum is in the process and the patterns it makes are lovely.
