It's a warm and sunny spring Saturday afternoon. The park and cafe should busy with people. Seems that most are following the President's appeal yesterday to stay home except for essential reasons as part of his sweeping policies and requests for dealing with the virus.
It does look so deserted - I feel sorry for the owner of it. This virus must be having a terrible impact on so many people - not just those who are unfortunate enough to catch it. Is it very widespread in Portugal?
@robz The government policies include financial compensation to businesses that must close and their employees, and to those with the illness. As of this morning, there are 169 confirmed cases, 2 who recovered, zero deaths. Hi Fotoblah - thanks for the link - it's very interesting. The response from your Govn looks very similar to that of ours. Hopefully it will help decrease the number of cases and deaths. I hope you and your family keep well. :)
