How do you solve a problem like Maria?

Put her in a kennel with a roof. Maria is a new guest at the dog shelter where I began volunteering 3 weeks ago. That she's healthy, friendly, active, and attractive will help her be adopted. However, her climbing ability may dampen visitor's enthusiasm for adoption. Time will tell.
Oh, I love your caption and your capture. Oh, I hope Maria finds a new home!!!

@jamibann Obrigado. (that's Portuguese for 'thank you'). I expect she will be adopted soon. Since I started volunteering, 4 dogs have been adopted. According to the shelter's web site there are 7 'reserved' dogs. Those are for people who are either making arrangements to take the dog to their home country, or those who want to foster a dog and are making things ready for introducing a dog to their local home.

Ah the climber dogs. My previous dog of 13 years could clear an 8-foot fence! We found that out after we built it to keep her in. I suspect this pup will be adopted. Our family fosters pups while they wait for adoption homes and we haven't kept one longer that a couple of weeks!

@darylo Glad to hear your family fosters dogs. Also glad to see you've found the motivation to post more often on 365. I'm always surprised at how well dogs can jump and climb. There is a medium sized dog at the shelter that can get on top of the wall surrounding the shelter. They named him 'Jumpy'.
