We went to an Advent Carol service in the neighbouring village where there are two magnificent medieval churches adjacent to each other. The service started in St Mary’s and half way through the proceedings we followed the choir over to St Cyriac’s for the second half. There are several beautiful hatchments on the walls in St Mary’s. This is one of them.
