My Cactus

After this cactus had flowered last year there was a fresh set of buds. I assumed this was a second flush and waited in anticipation. One year on the flowers have finally appeared. It’s always a joy to see them but, sadly, they don’t last very long.

This is beautiful. I had the same experience with buds, not realising they were for next year. They’re still a long way from flowering.
