Out and About in Portugal

This is our first holiday in Portugal, although we did drive through part of it years ago. It’s a delightful country and our guide has been very informative. In the photo you can see the statue of Vasco da Gama, his house (above), a lemon tree, Roman temple, a street and sea views. Lots of variety. The good weather ( mid 30s this week) certainly helps.
Lis were in Porto for a week in June. Would you recommend a train trip to Lisbon or any other towns??

This is a lovely collage and I've enjoyed your holiday immensely!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Lisbon was very enjoyable, Jackie. We visited the Maritime museum and and did a tour of the town. Coimbra was lovely too, especially the university library, but I’m not sure about trains there. We’re with Saga and have been on the go all the time and travelled through some interesting countryside. We’ve really enjoyed it and have learned a lot. Great bunch of people too, which helps. Oh, Guimarães is a good town to visit and not far from Porto.
