This Ercol coffee table needed sanding and restaining along with other pieces of furniture. My parents had it in their house about 50 years ago and it still looks good.
Things were built to last in those days and as JackieR says it's dateless. We have a walnut table that my aunt gave to my parents as a wedding present in 1944. I'm so pleased we managed to find the perfect place for it when we downsized to this house.
