We went on a short history tour of our village today to show our grandson, Lucien, some of the many plaques that are scattered around. The first one is where Burwell bus depot used to be. The second one indicates the position of the Saxon burial ground and the third is where the stocks stood from 1405 to 1837. Wouldn’t it be great to go back in time?
