7 Vintage Stack

Thanks for putting my lowly not-candy mushroom on the popular page. This one is for get-pushed challenge from Debs Stott to "so this week do a set up / still life shot that interprets the words 'stacked' and 'vintage'" This also qualifies as a happy days shot because I have HAPPY to have finished cutting out the 200 circles from old blue jeans for the current quilt project. Some of the jeans had been saved for many many many years, that's the vintage part of this picture. The little blister on my finger feels like a badge of honor. Also happy to have the leisure to just hang out and cut material. Now to cut the interiors.

great shot ... wonderful composition and lighting ... interesting reading too, I was wondering if they were patches for jeans, which would have been vintage because the modern thing to do is to wear jeans with holes!
