Before the storm by francoise

Before the storm

Not sure why the grass had that pinkish cast, but it seems peaceful. This was just before a squall blew in knocking the temps down about 30 degrees in a couple hours and bringing a bit of snow (aacck). To see what it looked like facing the other direction, see here http://365project.org/francoise/other/2016-01-13

Happy82: I was in my new class during the actual storm, so I missed the driving where people slid around into ditches and whatnot.. When my class ended at 10, it was so cold that the roads were no longer slippery. Also, my class promises to be quite interesting.

This is pretty and I like the monochromatic effect! It is a lovely composition!

Definitely nice colors on everything there! What will make this particular class so interesting?

We got about 6 inches and the temps and wind were frigid. Light can play with the colors.

A strong feeling of cold

It's an odd color- but it probably had to do with the lighting. I guess as long as it's not that odd green color which precedes a tornado, you're ok! Nice shot.

Lovely scene, I quite like the strange colouring!
