This photo is not taken in the garden, but the produce is from the garden. We will definitely be sorry when asparagus season ends since right now we’re getting a lovely bunch like this every two or three days. Asparagus is available year round now. It’s grown in Peru and sold in Wal-Mart. But somehow it definitely tastes more delicious picked fresh from the garden.
It’s not raining anymore, but it’s cold and windy. The weatherman is calling for temperatures down into the 30’s tonight. Got a first coat of paint in the hall today … no, it’s not that big, but there are, yes, seven doors. The second coat will go on tomorrow, then the major important question of where and if to rehang the pictures in all three rooms. I’m enjoying the rooms with minimal clutter and minimal furniture and empty walls, and I think it might be nice to repopulate the rooms judiciously. Of course, that leaves the question of where to put all the books, magazines, end tables etc. that were removed.
